One More Life Parody of One More Night by Maroon 5

Ok I've been put to a challenge. My nephew is a fan of some songs I don't normally listen to and long story short I told him if he gave me a list of the songs he liked I would do my best to write Christian versions of them and well he gave me a big list that I will be trying my best to work on them and post them one at a time.

The first song I've finished is one more night by Maroon 5 which I am calling "One more Life" and focuses on the conversion of someone who God would not give up on. Some scripture to look up that backs the song include 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 15:7. You might have times in your life where you feel small and unimportant, but know this that God does not desire for anyone to die and He values your life even willing to leave the 99 sheep to  go look for just one sheep and when he does the angles praise :)

When It's Stormy (Parody of Every Morning by Sugar Ray)

Well it's been awhile sense I've written a song, but I'm back at it once again :D
 This time I am parodying the song Every morning by Sugar Ray and I call it when it's storming.
 The song is about the hard times we face in life and how we can rest assure God will be with us and help us over come even the worst of storms.
Some scripture to back the song are Genesis 9:13-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Matthew 28:19-20.

Ok, saying it's been awhile since my last post would be an understatement lol

I've recently finished a three year ministry program and had sometime to come up with a new song.

This blog doesn't seem to get any views so I don't know if this will be read, but if you do read this and enjoy the songs, please take the time to let me know :)

Ok I promise I'm almost getting to the lyrics lol, but I want to set it up first. It's sung from the point of view of John the baptist and uses Matthew 3:11-12,Luke 3:15-17, John 1:19-23, John 3:25-36 as the scriptural bases and briefly make references to Ezekiel 37:1-14 and Mark 12:10-11.
